Curricular Practical Training (CPT)

This online course is for students in F-1 status who are planning on applying for CPT.

The course will take about 20-30 minutes to complete. It is meant to provide you with the information necessary to request and maintain your CPT authorization.

The CPT Orientation Course will cover the following topics:

• Introduction to CPT
• CPT Eligibility
• Differences Between CPT and OPT
• CPT Course Credit Requirements
• CPT Application Process
• After CPT Approval Instructions

After the end of the course, you will take a quiz. Upon passing the quiz, you will receive a certificate of completion. Save this certificate for your records!
