ELPR Contact Information for UW Seattle Students

NOTICE:

  • Due to the inclement weather and recent university closures, Residency/ELPR drop-in hours are canceled for Wednesday, February 13. Students are encouraged to schedule an appointment with our office for a later date or email questions to resquest@uw.edu. Additional documents may be submitted to the Residency dropbox in Schmitz Hall during building open hours.

The ELPR Office now offers appointments — see below to schedule. We are also open for drop-in visits on Wednesdays between 10 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., and 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Schedule an appointment

Before scheduling an appointment, please thoroughly review the information provided on our main page. Information about the ways in which a student can satisfy the ELP requirement is listed there. Note that completion of English courses at another institution will not satisfy the UW’s ELP requirement.

If you want to request a one-quarter delay of your ELP requirement, we recommend that you contact us via email rather than making an appointment. Delay requests may require confirmation or documentation from your adviser, which would be done by email.

Drop-in Advising

Wednesdays, 10: a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Check in at the kiosk on the 2nd floor of Schmitz Hall. Drop-in appointments last up to ten minutes, and are intended for quick residency or ELPR questions and citizenship status updates only.
